I was arguing with myself the other day. I said, "The greatest aspect of God's character is l-o-v-e." To which I responded, "Not so. It's peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace." "I beg to differ," I said, not budging one bit. Just then I was interrupted when I butted in and said, "You're both wrong. It's God's mercy that we all need." I stood silent for just a moment. How ridiculous that my body should fight amongst itself. How ridiculous that Christ's body should do the same. Have a great day, Jenny & Ted. Live a great life. “I don’t mean to bother you. I know how you hate interruptions like this. But I felt the need to remind you that I didn’t die on the cross to make sin okay. I died to make sinners righteous. Listen, there’s something that I’d like to visit with you about. Is there time in your schedule for us to meet together in my word?” -- I hope I never find this written on a sticky note, tacked to my computer screen. Have a great day, Ted & Jenny. Live a great life. By the way, are the new grandbabies here yet? (Please visit our new website: www.8GreatWonders.org.)

And now for something completely off the beaten path: Legend has it that, when he was 47 years old, William Shakespear anonymously had a hand in translating the King James Version of the Bible. The evidence, some say, is found in Psalm 47. To consider the evidence for yourself, count 47 words from the beginning of verse 1. Then count 47 words backwards from the end of verse 9. Remember, this applies to King James only. So what do you think? (P.S. Send your favorite bit of interesting Bible trivia to me. Let’s see what else we can come up with.) Have a great day, Ted & Jenny. Live a great life.

When the judge ordered her back to jail, Paris Hilton was taken from the courtroom calling for her mother and crying, “It isn’t right!” Do you think it’s even possible for her parents to step back a moment and ask, “Where did we go wrong?” Their daughter’s life is filled with money and fame, but seemingly nothing that could be listed under the heading “Personal Strength and Integrity.” Then, the question boomerangs back to us. Is there something that fills our lives and causes us to fall short personally? Keep in mind, there’s that phrase “predestined to be like Jesus.” Ms. Hilton may or may not believe this statement applies to her, but if you and I are followers of Christ, then it certainly means something for us. Have a great day, Jenny & Ted. Live a great life. (P.S. How was the big move?)
