Every Christian has problems from time to time, it is a part of life that we can’t help. These problems, that many consider to be the end of the world, are usually tests from God to see if you have the faith to deal with them while still following his Christian laws of conduct. Some issues may be easy to get through, while others require a lot of strength. For the problems that are not easily solved, Christian counseling might be the route to take. Many of you might think that you can handle the issue on your own, but that is not always the case. Just because we have Christian faith to guide us does not mean that we will not need help from our Christian brothers and sisters from time to time. Here are some reasons why you may want to consider Christian counseling if you ever do have a problem that you are not completely prepared to deal with.
1. Homosexuality – I personally do not have any problems with gay individuals, I just view them as misguided. A Christian man or woman should be helping their community, marrying the opposite sex when the time is right, and then having some Christian children of their own. Kids and teenagers that feel as though they need to turn to homosexuality just need some Christian counseling that will show them how much their choice is affecting their lives. Christian counseling will reach children in a way that only God can, and the results are fantastic. Studies have shown that Christian counseling causes the recon version to heterosexuality very frequently.
2. Marriage – My husband and I have never actually had to worry about this (thank God!), but I do know people that have had some rocky spots in their marriage. If you are a Christian, then you must understand that a marriage means that you will be together through think and thin, divorce should not even be on the table in most cases. Christian counseling on the other hand, is a completely viable option. Do not let some petty arguments change how you and your spouse feel about each other. After your Christian counseling is complete, the foundation you two have built will be as solid as ever.
3. Loss of faith – This is an extreme issue for a Christian. If you know somebody that seems to be losing their faith for any reason, refer them to Christian counseling immediately. If you happen to be the one losing faith, refer yourself or make believe that I am forcing you if you have to, just make sure you get yourself to Christian counseling. There can be many reasons for something like this to happen a Christian, but do not let moments of anger and sadness control your entire eternity.
Being a Christian, I know that the Devil can come around and try to influence you. He is constantly lurking, waiting for a weak moment. Just be sure to do what is necessary to ward him off before it becomes too late.
