Here's my Testimony on how I met Jesus in my life: Why I am a Christian today and Forevermore: The Day I met Jesus. It Started on June 12, 1987ad Someone invited me to church in Wasilla by Brother Paul Riley. I was introduced with the Sinners Prayer by Brother Frank Everett after Church Service. I felt great when I repeated the Sinners Prayer and invited Jesus into My heart. Before I was a Christian, I used to be Rebellious to everything, I used to be caught up into the secular Rock / metal scene, I used to have Ratt, Iron Maiden, Rush, Pink Floyd, Ozzy Osbourn and much more. Then in 1990ad, I discovered Christian Rock. I was very Surprised when I did. It was on 1020am KCFA AM Radio Station is where I heard about it. I was really blessed by the Lord when I first heard of Christian Rock. I then renounced the Secular Rock Worldly Scene. Got rid of my old Secular Albums and replaced it with Christian Rock Albums. It took almost 2 years to clean my Secular Rock Scene Lifestyle.
I was very excited to Go to Church Service since 1987ad. I remember when the Pastor of the church preached about everlasting life in John 3. I was totally refreshed and blessed after service. I was filled with Joy. I even started reading my new Bible everyday. Soon, I started to go to church every week on Sunday's and Wednesday's.
Today, I am still a Christian.. Why? The reason is that Jesus forgave all of my sins when I invited him into my heart. He cleaned me up, and gave me another chance. It's what he did when He Died on the cross of Calvary. I am still a Christian, not because of religion, It's because Jesus made a way of an escape from Hell and Destruction. Jesus wants to know us personally. He is the only King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is truly my only Savior and Lord of my Life..
OVERALL RESULT: Will I ever Stop being a Christian? Never! Why? Because, I will keep on serving the Lord faithfully everyday no matter the trial and tribulation I face.. Jesus is Number 1 in my whole life. Therefore No one can stop me from being a Christian.. I now serve the Lord alone.. Not Religion or man-made Doctrines. Jesus is my best friend and my Savior and Lord who lives inside my heart Spiritually.
A NOTE FOR THOSE WHO ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR TRUTH: How about you? Will you give Jesus a try? He offers free salvation.. All you have to do is to Ask him into your heart as Savior and Lord, and to serve Him faithfully. Jesus is the only way, the truth and the way to Heaven. Jesus made a way of an escape from Hell and Destruction. Jesus wants to know you personally. He is the only King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is truly only Savior and Lord of your Life.. The Choice is yours..
Here's the Salvation Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross of calvery to free my soul from Hell. Please come into my heart, save me, I invite you into my heart as Lord and Saviour - I give you my Life and everything to you. Fill me with you Holy Spirit. Write my name in the Lambs book of Life and take me to Heaven when I die in Jesus name AMEN.
