This year's 30 Days of Prayer will take place January 1-30, 2012. The theme will be "United Prayer" with the acronym "UP."

It is time for us to assemble together and go "UP" to the upper room, in the Spirit, as we gather in "one accord in prayer" (Acts 1:14) and "with one accord in one place" (Acts 2:1) to see a sweeping move of the Holy Ghost as "one church body" in this hour (Acts 2:2-4; 4:31-35). Jesus went with others "UP into the mountain to pray," and the voice of God was heard and His glory was revealed (Luke 9:28-35). When the church renders "united prayer" as "one" body in alignment and unity with the purpose, plan, and will of God, then we will see greater revival and harvest. There is reality in what E.M. Bounds once stated: "Prayer can do anything God can do."

Pray...
for every believer to develop a deep personal relationship with God and whole-heartedly commune with Him daily and allow His presence to go with them continually: "And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest" (Exodus 33:14);

for fresh movements of prayer to permeate the United Pentecostal Church International, and that all saints will adopt a lifestyle of prayer and fasting: "These all continued with one accord in prayer" (Acts 1:14);

for a spirit of "one accord" to prevail among the church as we join together in corporate prayer: "When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place" (Acts 2:1);

Prayer for the 2011 U.P.C.I. General Conference

This week we will be praying again for the UPCI General Conference. Along with the prayer points from last week, we are including a copy of the schedule of the services. We ask that you choose a service and cover it in prayer. We believe God is going to do great things during this important conference. Your prayers will play a powerful part in that happening.

"Let's have Church," is an appropriate theme to reflect an emphasis on worship, preaching, prayer, singing, teaching, and more, as we gather to magnify Jesus, for "Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end" (Ephesians 3:21). Let's pray for the services and for God's will to be done at the U.P.C.I. General Conference that is scheduled to convene October 11-15, 2011 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pray for:

David K. Bernard, General Superintendent, Jerry Jones, General Secretary, and for Assistant General Superintendents Paul Mooney and Stan Gleason, Division Leaders, Directors, Coordinators, District Superintendents and Secretaries, administration, staff, leadership and the entire ministerial body and all churches of the U.P.C.I. Pray for God's purpose to be fulfilled.

The success of all business meetings, services, and events at General Conference. Pray that the will of God be wrought on all decisions made.

Pray that God would guide, bless, and greater empower His ministers to do great things in His kingdom, unto His glory.

The entire Body of Christ and for His divine plan to be wrought. Pray Spirit-led prayers.

ALL to go well with every aspect of General Conference and that the entire conference is blessed with the favor of God upon it. Pray that all attending would be ministered to.

All speakers, musicians, singers, altar workers, greeters, conference workers, etc., and everyone involved in the conference agenda.

Pray God would greatly anoint and use all.

The Word of God to go forth with power and authority and to be confirmed with signs following. Pray that God gloriously would perform healing, miracles, signs, and wonders.

Many people to be filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the name of Jesus.

God to guard and protect those travelling to and from the conference.

All attending the conference to go home with renewed vision and burden.

Great HARVEST, RESTORATION, and REVIVAL worldwide (Joel 2:21-28).

Pray for the Shekinah glory of God to manifest in our midst! "Let's have Church," and "Turn our world upside down" (Acts 17:6).

"Prayer for Putting on the Whole Armor of God"

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" Ephesians 6:10-18

We continually should wear the Whole Armor of God every day. Before we enter into prayer, especially Spiritual Warfare, it is vital to put on the Whole Armor of God to be fully equipped as a victorious Christian. Pray that God's people put on His Whole Armor:

Helmet of Salvation

Protect my mind.

A helmet also is a protection for the eyes. Pray during this time. Keep my mind and eyes focused on you. Let me think right; let me view things through your eyes, Oh Lord.

Breastplate of Righteousness

Keep my heart right.

God filter everything that comes into or out of my heart, through Your righteousness. None is righteous Oh Lord, but You. Let me be easily impressed by Your Spirit, recognizing the unction of Your Spirit. Lord, it's Your righteousness, not mine.

Put on (in your mind) the breastplate and let God impress you about things of the Spirit.

Loins Girt about with Truth

Let me love truth.

A girdle was used to keep the rest of the garments from hampering your progress.

It also could be used to carry your sword and money. Truth gives you power and strength.

Gird me about with truth; wrap Yourself around me. Let truth keep me from lies and error.

Feet Shod with the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace

Everywhere I walk, bring peace. I am willing to witness.

Lord, help me to be peaceful and to bring peace. Lord, guide my feet and guard them. Set my feet in a large place safe from the pit. Send the angels to keep me from bruising my feet against a stone.

Shield of Faith

Quench all fiery darts of the enemy and help me when I do not understand.

Lord, You are the Author and the Finisher of my faith. Let my faith come from You, for You are faithful. A strong defense is the beginning of great offense. With faith all things are possible. Lord, I know You fight for me. Above all...First thing we must have. If we are missing or weak in any other part of our armor, faith will cover for it.

Sword of the Spirit

Let me be on the offense with truth.

Anoint the Word in my hands and heart. Lead me and guide me that I may be effective in all I do. Let Your Word do a work through me. Your Word gives me boldness to attack and knowledge to defend myself and others.

Let me be a channel through which the Word can flow.

The annual 30 Days of Prayer will take place January 1-30, 2011

The annual 30 Days of Prayer will take place January 1-30, 2011. Saturday, January 1, is Pastor-to-Pastor Prayer Day. We are asking for all pastors to pray for their neighboring pastors and send them a card of encouragement. Beginning January 2, every church in the UPCI is encouraged to pray together in this effort and share with the congregation the focus of one-accord prayer for that week. This can be done by displaying it during service or by distributing copies of the prayer guides to the congregation.

Both the prayer guide and PowerPoint slides are available to download for free on the World Network of Prayer’s website, www.wnop.org. Thank you for participating in this endeavor to unify our churches in prayer. I believe that the end result will be an earth-shaking revival and a great ingathering of souls for the kingdom of God.

Day 1: Declare this a “National Day of Repentance.” Daniel prayed, “O Lord . . . we have sinned . . . by departing from thy precepts” (Daniel 9:4-5). Even though Daniel himself had not sinned, he confessed the corporate sins of Israel. Do the same for your nation and seek God’s mercy.

Day 2: Paul exhorted that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for kings and all that are in authority (I Timothy 2:1-2). Familiarize yourself with the names of the authorities in your federal and local government. Your prayers can make a difference between social unrest and peace.

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.

Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked!

They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

The Prayer Requests

"Urgent"
* Andrew and Pat both had a heart attack and are in ICU.
* Bonnie and her mother were involved in an automobile accident. Her mother died instantly and Bonnie is in critical condition.
* David, Mary’s grandfather, Pablo, and Sanford are expected to pass away soon.
* Don has kidney failure and is in ICU.
* Don has thyroid cancer that has spread. He does not have long to live.
* Dorothy has pancreatitis, she is diabetic and her blood pressure is very low.
* Elizabeth’s brother has stage-four lung cancer. He also needs salvation.
* Francis and Paul are both in ICU.
* June has cancer that has spread to her stomach. She doesn’t have long to live.
* LaVonne’s has congestive heart failure and her kidneys have shut down and her blood pressure is low.
* Lyle had a brain hemorrhage. He is on life support and is not showing signs of response.
* Margarite has cancer and is in hospice.
* Margret and Mary have terminal cancer.
* Michael has serious head trauma and other injuries after being hit by a car.
* Nicholas is on life support and has developed pneumonia.
* Nita is on life support.
* Regan, three days old, is on a respirator and is just starting to have kidney function.
* Roy has stage-four cancer.
* Shannon had a miscarriage. She is still hemorrhaging and is in ICU.
* Sheri has cancer throughout her body and is not expected to live long. She also needs salvation.
* Steve has the final stages of pancreatic cancer. He also needs salvation.
