Marketplace Terms

We introduce buyers and providers and are not a party to the work agreed between them. Paid placement is always labeled.

Effective date: September 30, 2026

Attorney review required. These terms are provided as working example terms for Christian.com and are pending review by legal counsel. They may change before public launch; the effective date above will be updated when they do.

1. Our role

Christian.com operates an introduction marketplace. When a member submits a service request, our matching engine scores providers on category fit, location, verification, ratings, availability, budget, and project size, and shares the request with the selected providers.

Any resulting engagement — scope, price, schedule, warranty, insurance, and payment — is a contract between the member and the provider. We are not a party to it, do not supervise the work, and do not guarantee outcomes.

2. Buyer obligations

Describe your need accurately, respond to matched providers in good faith, and do not use the marketplace to collect competitive intelligence or to solicit unrelated business. Verify licensing, insurance, and references before engaging any provider.

3. Provider obligations

Maintain accurate capabilities, service areas, licensing, and insurance. Respond to matches within the response window shown in your dashboard. Do not misuse buyer contact details, add them to marketing lists without consent, or share them outside your organization.

Leads and premium leads are sold as introductions only. We do not guarantee that a lead will convert, and lead fees are not contingent on the outcome of the engagement.

4. Paid placement and advertising

Featured listings, sponsored categories, promoted events, and promoted jobs are clearly labeled wherever they appear. Paid placement affects position and prominence only; it never changes a verification badge, a rating, review visibility, or the result set of a filtered search.

5. Fees and taxes

Platform fees, subscription prices, and add-on prices are configured in the platform and shown before purchase. Taxes are calculated and collected at checkout where applicable. Current plan prices are listed on the Pricing page. Marketplace sales, event tickets, and donations carry the platform fee disclosed before payment.

6. Disputes between users

Members and providers are responsible for resolving disputes between themselves. We may review platform records, mediate informally, and take enforcement action where our rules were broken, but we do not arbitrate commercial disputes or issue refunds on behalf of a provider.
