A Christian.com profile made for your child's age.
CARE Family gives each of your children a profile that only shows content rated for their age. You see what they open and what they ask, you allow exceptions one item at a time, and leaving their profile takes your PIN.
What CARE Family does
Three age tiers
Ages 5–8, 9–12 and 13–17. We suggest a tier from your child's birth month, and you can change it any time.
Rated content only
Organizations, events, streams, products and Concierge sources carry an age rating. A child profile sees only what is rated for its tier; anything not rated yet stays hidden.
Parent PIN
A 4–8 digit PIN you set. You need it to leave a child's profile and to allow an item for a child.
30-day activity feed
See what your child opened and watched, what was blocked, and every question they asked the Concierge with its answer. Activity is kept for 30 days.
"Allow for your child"
Found something you are happy for your child to see? Allow it for them from its page with your PIN, and revoke it from your dashboard. Adult-only items can never be allowed.
No ads, messaging or purchases
A child profile shows no ads, sends no messages, and cannot buy, donate or register for anything. We run no third-party ads or analytics in a child profile.

- Add a child with their first name and birth month. That is all we ask.
- For a child under 13, confirm the parental notice with a $0.50 card check that is voided right away.
- Switch the device your child uses into their profile.

Questions parents ask
What will my child see?
Only items rated for their age tier, plus anything you allow for them. Uploaders rate what they post and our staff review reports of a wrong rating. Anything not rated yet is hidden from every child profile.
What do you collect about my child?
Their first name and birth month, never a full birth date, plus their activity while they use their profile. No email, phone number, photo or location, and child profiles have no login of their own.
Why the $0.50 card check?
Before a profile for a child under 13 works, we ask you to read our notice and confirm it with a $0.50 authorization on your card. We void it right away, so nothing is charged, and we never store your card number.
Is it different for teenagers?
A profile for a 13–17 year old starts as soon as you add it, without the card check. Items rated 17 and up stay hidden from the whole 13–17 tier.
Can my child buy things or message people?
No. Checkout, giving, ticket registration, messages and contact forms are all switched off in a child profile.
Which devices does it work on?
You switch a device into your child's profile from your dashboard on christian.com. It applies to that browser on that device: a private window or another browser is not in child mode, so use it alongside the controls on the device itself.
How do I cancel?
Cancel the subscription from billing on your family dashboard. Closing CARE Family, or revoking consent for a child, stops their profile at once and deletes it within 30 days.
