Get your organization verified
An owner, admin or manager applies at /verification and uploads documents; two reviewers sign every decision.
Only an owner, admin or manager of the organization can apply. Claim or create the listing first.
- Sign in and go to /verification (the Verification center).
- If you manage more than one organization, pick it under Organization.
- Fill in Tell us about your organization (at least 40 characters) and, if you like, Leadership declaration (optional).
- Click Submit application. A reviewer will be assigned.
- Under Supporting documents, choose a Document type (for example business registration, IRS determination letter, government photo ID, professional license, insurance certificate or statement of faith), choose the file (PDF or image, up to 15 MB) and click Upload document.
Follow progress in the Status timeline. If a reviewer has a question you will see Response requested. Your badges appear under Your badges.
Your documents are private to your organization's managers, your assigned reviewer and administrators.
How decisions work. Two reviewers sign every decision. A badge lasts 12 months and is then reviewed again. If an application is rejected or a badge revoked, a File an appeal card appears; you get one appeal per decision, decided by the verification lead. Verification confirms identity and documents; it is never an endorsement of doctrine or quality. See /verification-standards for exactly what is checked.
